As the Coronavirus shuttered businesses and forced people to stay home, faith and morality in anything positive was extremely low.
Since the Coronavirus took grip of our nation, many people turned to drugs, alcohol or suicide to quell their inability to cope with the stress of the pandemic. Substance abuse has increased an astonishing 13% with an additional 11% of all U.S. adults reporting "serious consideration of suicide." After receiving emails and inboxes from his clients and social media followers slipping into mental health and substance issues, Tim could see the mental toll of the Coronavirus manifesting aggressively. Instead of looking at these statistics as harsh immutable realities, he heard a call to action. He knew that something had to be done.
On May 15th, 2020, Tim founded the “Faith Works Foundation”, a non-profit organization dedicated to
providing subsidized housing and scholarships to individuals seeking treatment who may not be able to afford it. Faith Works Foundation also works within the community to provide support to homeless shelters with residents who suffer from mental health and substance abuse disorders. The Faith Works Foundation was created to de-stigmatize the very resources that individuals need in order to reclaim their lives from addiction and mental bondage.
